This crocodile cake was created for my son's second birthday. He loves to pretend an alligator is chasing us! The cake was made using a bundt pan for the body (sliced in half and arranged so it looked slithery) and a square pan which I then cut into triangles and placed on top of each other to create the head.

I made this Alligator Birthday Cake for my nephew's 5th Birthday. I made several rectangle cakes for the body and tail, and stacked them two high to ensure I was able to get the depth in the cake. The head was cut out of a square cake stacked two high. I firstly traced the sizes of the tins on paper and then drew the alligator free hand.
