So i think GW decided to go for that Scotish look to bring a viriety to the feifdoms units. But no wear in the writting am i awear of it saying they have kilts and wield claymores.

They are all going to be equipped differently than your Lamedon clansmen but you could use those three as commanders/heroes. The ebob clansmen are a hair too slight in my tastes, as I have a set I bought for this purpose. The GW metal models are not small like the plastic sets. The Reaper models are a better fit.

Agreed on that point. The light armour certainly befits how we imagine the clansmen would have fought. And a lighter aketon aptly communicates this more skirmish oriented attitude to battle. I especially love the tartan sash as that adds an aura of ceremony to the armour. It is a terrific design!

While I love the sculpting and the pose, it doesn't fit that well into my personal vision of Middle-Earth. Although Lamedon is one of the provinces of Gondor mentioned.
