Highest waterfall in Germany with a free fall of approx. 400 meters. Narrow, rocky path. If you bend slightly you should wear hiking shoes. Otherwise easy to walk on, but lots of oncoming traffic. The path is not strenuous, but due to the unevenness, good sure-footedness and mobility are required.

We walk past it and follow the path until we reach the Obersee. We follow the path along its shore, which becomes somewhat uneven, mainly due to tree roots.. which we take and turn right towards Röthbachfall. The path leads us slightly uphill and unprotected by the sun. We then descend a little across a meadow until we reach the foothills.
