Le château du Plessis est dissimulé dans les arbres, à la sortie du bourg, au 20 de la rue de Pocé. Construit au XVIe siècle, le bâtiment a connu de nombreuses transformations. Il fut étendu une première fois au XVIIe siècle, puis par deux fois au XVIIe siècle, pour être finalement partiellement démoli au milieu du XXe siècle.

Le château de Moncé est édifié, de 1845 à 1846, dans un style néo-Renaissance, à l'emplacement de l'église de l' abbaye cistercienne de Moncé. Il ne subsiste de l'abbaye qu'un pavillon du XVIIe siècle, ayant servi d'infirmerie, à la droite du château, une fuie ( colombier) et quatre colonnes servant de piliers de portails à l'ouest.

Along the small road bordered by oaks that leads to Moncé, the vast house and tower appeared.
