Le géant du Manio à Carnac
The Geant du Manio is a 6.5 metre tall menhir which is situated on the crest of a hill overlooking the Kerlescan alignments only 50 metres from the quadrilateral. It is fairly easily found and obviously very popular because of all the erosion around it.

The Géant du Manio, impressive as it is now, is thought by some to have actually reached the height of 23 meters before erosion and lightning strikes. The suggested original mass has been estimated at 350 tonnes, this being the case the amount of effort in putting up the stone must have been huge.
