Divide batter into the prepared number cake pan, filling each about ⅔ full. Bake cakes, one at a time, until a toothpick inserted into the center come out clean, 17-20 minutes. Remove cakes from oven and let cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes. Invert onto a cooling rack and let cool completely.

Use a piece of paper the size of your cake pan and fold it into three parts or however many numbers you're going to cut out of your sheet cake. Then when you sketch your numbers within the folds of the paper, you know they'll fit onto your cake. Cut out your numbers and place them on a chilled cake, cutting around them with a serrated knife.

Preheat the oven to 375°F / 190°C / Gas Mark 5. Using a rolling pin, roll the chilled dough on a lightly floured parchment paper to about ¼-inch thickness. If the dough is too soft to cut chill in the fridge for a few minutes again. Pro tip - Cut the dough when it is well chilled.

Instructions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and cornstarch. Whisk in the coconut oil until well combined. Add the almond milk (microwave for 15-20 seconds if it's cold from the fridge) and vanilla; whisk to combine.

You may want to add a tablespoon of the flour with each egg to keep the mixture smooth. Step 4: Mix in the flour, baking powder and vanilla extract and continue to beat until the mixture is a smooth dropping consistency. Step 5: Pour the mixture into the cake tin and bake for 30-35 minutes until baked throughout, golden and springy to touch.

All you have to do is print out the number you need, cut them out, and then place them directly on sheets of cake. Use a small paring knife to trace around the number.
