The Alexander Sarcophagus is a late 4th century BC Hellenistic stone sarcophagus from the Royal necropolis of Ayaa near Sidon, Lebanon. [1] It is adorned with bas-relief carvings of Alexander the Great and scrolling historical and mythological narratives.
