I've recreated the model ensuring that it would fit the IKEA Trofast plastic storage box. Version 4 works much better compared to the earlier 3 iterations.

The Tripp Trapp with baby kit, cover and tray cost us about $500 + taxes. I'm thinking I can sell it on Kijiji for $250-300, buy the 2 new chairs and make.

So I'm thinking about the IKEA high chair instead. Anyone have advice or had both at one point? Is the Tripp Trapp really worth it to go into the red in our budget haha?
