Make the marinade by combining olive oil, tequila, onion powder, and the zest and juice from a lime in a large plastic bag. Add the steak - I used a thick cut sirloin but you could also use flank steak or flat iron. Seal the bag and place in the fridge to marinate for two hours. Remove the steak from the fridge for 15 minutes before cooking.
