There were also separate blobs of the breading that, when cooked, gets extremely hard. If you like some substantial breading for your fried chicken, then this is for you.

The people whining that the nori isn't crispy after being frozen and microwaved clearly haven't had authentic kimbap. Traditionally, the roll is coated in a thin layer of sesame oil after assembly so it's not going to be crispy anyways. The karaage, on the other hand, is garbage. They're glorified chicken nuggets and the dipping sauce it comes.
